The Scientific and Academic Computer Network – National Research Institute (NASK–PIB) is committed to ensuring the accessibility of its website in accordance with the provisions of the Act of 4 April 2019 on Digital Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications of Public Entities. This accessibility statement applies to the website NASK-PIB Website and the subpage Report Disinformation.

The website is partially compliant with the Act on Digital Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications of Public Entities due to the non-compliances or exclusions listed below.

Inaccessible content

  • On some news subpages, headings may not form a logical structure.
  • There is not always a warning before opening a new browser window/tab; not all links are marked consistently.
  • Older downloadable documents (reports and publications) may not meet all accessibility criteria.
  • Redundant messages may appear when using a screen reader.

Exclusions

Some of the information provided on the new website has been transferred from a previous NASK website and was created before accessibility standards were introduced. All materials are being gradually reviewed and improved.

Architectural accessibility

The Scientific and Academic Computer Network – National Research Institute operates in two locations:

  • Building at 12 Kolska Street, 01-045 Warsaw

Accessible for people with reduced mobility.

Two entrances: from Kolska Street (main) and Spokojna Street. The main entrance is wheelchair accessible.

Two accessible parking spaces near the main entrance.

After entering, there is a reception desk. Further access is secured by gates that are accessible for wheelchair users.

Corridors and rooms on all floors are accessible.

Two elevators are available with automatic sliding doors.

Visual and audio signals assist elevator identification.

Buttons are located about 1 meter above the floor, are large, high-contrast, Braille-labeled, and illuminated when pressed.

Accessible restroom on the ground floor near reception.

Assistance and guide dogs are allowed.

An induction loop is installed.

No high-contrast or large-print signage for visually impaired users.

Polish Sign Language (PJM) interpreter available online during working hours (free for Deaf users).

Accessible for people with reduced mobility.

Entrance from Stawki Street; wheelchair accessible.

Accessible parking available in the underground garage.

After entering, there is a reception desk. Further access requires a magnetic card, but passage is wheelchair accessible.

Two elevators with automatic sliding doors and visual/audio signals.

Buttons located about 1 meter above the floor, clearly visible and high-contrast, with illuminated signals.

Accessible restroom on the ground floor.

Assistance and guide dogs are allowed.
