The growing popularity of travel content on social media has created new channels through which audiences form opinions about foreign countries. Analysis of materials published by travel influencers visiting Russia shows a recurring emphasis on modern infrastructure, functioning consumer markets, and everyday life in major cities, often with limited reference to wider political realities. Although such content is primarily intended to entertain and document personal experiences, its selective nature can produce an incomplete picture of the country and soften perceptions of the Russian regime. This demonstrates how contemporary information influence can operate through seemingly neutral and non-political content rather than through overt propaganda alone.
